Wool ties
When I get a wool tie along with others, it is initially treated the same as silk or polyester. I wash all ties with "Quilt Soap" (Orvus paste) and liquid fabric softener in cool water and then either line dry or in the dryer on delicate setting. At some point I will try to felt the wool ties and use them in a small wool applique project.
