Using a fabric panel in clothing

Printed panels were designed with quilts in mind, but you can use them for clothing, too.  I have used various sized and configured panels for jackets with good success, featuring the larger portion of the panel on the back and using any smaller components (or leftovers) for cuffs, pockets or other small areas.  I have also used a pillow panel in conjunction with a coordinating fabric to make a camp shirt, with the back pieced around the pillow square.  (Photo soon on Facebook)
