Alternative tie drying
Last week I washed some accumulated ties the usual way in my washer - Orvis soap, a splash of Retayne, a Color Catcher, and some fabric softener in cool water and delicate cycle. As usual, they washed well, but were tangled after the cycle finished. I tossed the entire bundle in my dryer on a delicates setting and let it go. Most of the ties were untangled when the load finished and all were smoothly dry and easily separated.
