Using the labels

Don't forget the labels when taking the ties apart.  I try to preserve as many as possible and reuse in many ways.  For example, chain then together and use as a hem "tape" on a necktie garment.  Use as a base for a button to prevent tearing the fabric.  Apply as embellishment - to appear as decorative "ribbon", cover a hole or weak spot in the tie fabrics, cover raw edges of prairie point tie tips.
