Use those labels!
A part of the recycled tie that is often thrown away is the label. First, carefully remove the label: snip the corner threads or remove the tiny stitchiing on the ends. Labels can be used as decoration on a project, cover undiscovered defects in ties used, act as "ribbon" when joined together, cover a raw edge, identify a favorite shop on a memory piece. They often tell a story for/of the owner of the tie.
