Make recycled tie fabric

I've made fabric with scraps of recycled silk ties and an organza or tulle foundation (or cover).  Start with the organza or tulle as a base, spray with temporary spray adhesive, cover with scraps (right or wrong side up, or a mix), cover with see-through water soluble stabilizer and pin.  Stitch thoroughly to secure all the scraps, using rayon or polyester or metallic embroidery threads as you wish.  I used a mix with a random scribble to cover the entire piece.  Wash and use as desired.  NOTE:  This shrinks a lot, so make a lot more than you think you need!
