Sweatshirt jackets
One of the easiest clothing projects for a quilter is the sweatshirt jacket. This starts with a size larger than you would wear as a sweatshirt and can be made with scraps, orphan blocks, favorite collections, jelly rolls, charm squares, or anything else you can imagine. Washable fabrics are best and prewashed even better. You can quilt-as-you-go, or make patchwork and quilt it to the sweatshirt pieces. You can even line it if you like!
