Using ties scraps

If you like to work on "snippets" projects - those fabric pictures made with small bits of fabric attached to fusible webbing - silk neckties can give you some interesting fabrics to work with.  You can use a non-stick press sheet to adhere many small scraps of ties to a sheet of paper-backed webbing, or cut pieces of webbing to fuse to like pieces of necktie.  Cut snippets and create!  Do be careful not to use polyester ties, as they can melt easily under the heat needed for fusing.
