Binding a sleeve hem

The easiest way to bind a sleeve hem is to sew the binding to the bottom of the sleeve BEFORE you sew the underarm/sleeve seam.  Prepare your binding as directed (single or double thickness) and sew to the right side of the sleeve hem.  When you sew the underarm/sleeve seam, continue through the binding.  Line the jacket (if directed), baste the lining to the lower seam allowance, then turn the binding to the wrong side and finish.
