Don't forget the details when you are creating a garment.  Added details like beading, corded piping in a seam, a flange (like piping but without the cording filling), special buttons, bits of embroidery help make the garment uniquely yours.  You can create a design with couched yarns or decorative threads, add a bit of color and texture with a double needle in straight or curved lines, or add your own special touch.
