Proper tools for neckties

In addition to using a new blade in your rotary cutter when cutting recycled neckties, I recommend using a new needle designed for sewing silks or other fine fabrics.  If a Universal needle isn't working for you, try a Microtex in sizes 60 - 90.  Remember, if you're using a small needle, use a fine thread with it.
