Adding beaded fringe

A favorite trim to add to handbags or clothing is beaded fringe.  It can be tricky to get close enough to the beads to hide the tape they are assembled on.  If you use a zipper foot and set your needle as far from center as you can, you should be able to snuggle up to the beads with your needle.  Sew slowing enough to shift direction slightly if you come to close to a bead - you can break a needle on one.
