Prairie points from ties

I've already touched on using the tips of the ties for prairie points, but the rest of the tie is also fair game.  I would recommend stabilizing the rest of the tie with a sheer-weight interfacing for ease of handling and durability.  Then you can cut squares "on point".  2 1/2" squares will fit nicely on most of the tie and you can cut a few larger ones from the wider end.
