I found this tip in another source, but it's a useful one.  I like to use invisible zippers, but often cannot find one in a color that matches the garment.  I buy a zipper in a neutral color, then paint the pull with nail polish in a color that closely matches the garment.  Put a piece of plastic under the zipper pull until it dries.  Touch up if necessary before using.
