Simple jacket lining

It's easy to make a lining for a simple jacket (no fitting seams).  Use the front, back and sleeve pattern pieces to cut from your lining fabric.  You can add a front facing by applying a 5" wide strip over the center fronts of the lining, matching the raw edges and trimming the neckline.  Assemble as you did the jacket, then sew right sides together to your jacket shell around the outer edges, leaving the sleeve hems unsewn.  Turn the jacket right side out through the sleeve openings, then bind or turn up and stitch the sleeve hems.
