Pressing a front facing

When you add a front facing to a garment, it can be difficult to press the facing to the wrong side and get the seam flat and straight.  You can control this by first pressing the trimmed seam open, then press the facing to the wrong side.  Use a small iron or pressing tool if you have one - even a tool designed for paper piecing will help.
