Cutting jacket lining

When you are cutting a jacket lining using the same pattern pieces as the jacket, it's a good idea to add about 1/4" of length to the lining as you cut it.  This will give a bit of ease to the lining so your jacket doesn't sag above the hemline.  Same thing applies to the sleeves.
