Colors for clothing patchwork
When selecting fabrics for patchwork in clothing, you need to rethink contrast. Rather than light-medium-dark, you want to look for a more subtle contrast. Try to achieve the contrast through light medium-dark medium-dark (or similar combos), with color contrast rather than shade contrast. The fabrics should blend more than they do for quilts.
