Making a garment from quilted fabric

There are some beautiful pre-quilted fabrics availaable that can be used for garment construction. Though you don't really need to line these, you do need to finish raw edges of the seams.  You can make the garment reversible by using a Hong Kong Finish on the edges, then topstitch the seam allowances with a coordinating thread.  The seams will be attractive from both sides of the garment.
