Ties for embellishing
Neckties provide a source for a variety of embellishments, both for quilts and for clothing. Some possibilities: Use the tips as you would use prairie points; make yo-yos from silk neckties - they will stay fresh forever; flowers from silk ties shine and last forever; use the fabric for fusible appliques.
