Simple sweatshirt jacket

One of the easiest sweatshirt jackets to make involves no extra quilting.  Use a "quilt as you go" method with long vertical strips cut 3-5" wide.  Start with one strip and "sew-and-flip" to add the rest to cover the sweatshirt pieces.  Trim, finish raw edges, reassemble, and bind the edges.
