Make a unique Christmas stocking with a holiday scene tie.  Cut a base from muslin to give the tie pieces some body, then cut the scene from the tie and center on the "leg" of the stocking.  Fill the remaining base with pieces from the tie, using sew and flip.  Add a coordinate if necessary to fill the front and cut a back from a holiday print or use felt.
