Ties as 2 1/2" strips

Neckties can be a fun substitute for 2 1/2" strips, especially in small projects.  One necktie can easily substitute for a strip, as most of them are 40-45" long.  Cut 2 1/2" x 40-45" strips of HTC's Touch of Gold II to stabilize the ties; then trim and use the ties as desired.  Save the scraps from the wide ends for other projects.
