Lining a princess

When I cut the back lining for a princess style jacket, I create my own one-piece pattern.  Using the back and side back pattern pieces you used for the jacket, match the SEAM lines at the armhole edge and hem edge and pin just at those two spots.  Then use this unit to cut your back lining, pinning so that the edges are as flat as possible (the pattern pieces will not be completely flat in the middle).
