Clingy ties

Ties that are washed in a machine have a tendency to develop static cling, which is most evident when you have to press them after dismantling.  I find that a small amount of fabric softener added to the rinse cycle will take care of that problem.  Even if you hand wash your ties, the spin cycle of your washer will squeeze out the water much more effectively than you can by hand.
